During my last quarter at EWU I worked a part-time job, had an internship, took 2 trips to California, planned Take Back the Night, attended a 6-day NEW Leadership Conference at WSU, and took 24 credits worth of classes. On Saturday, June 11th at 9 AM all of my hard work finally payed off. All year long, you spend it, counting down the days until graduation only to have it happen in a flash. It’s only been 3 days since I graduated but I have already been asked and will undoubtedly continue to be asked, “So, what’s it feel like now that you’ve graduated from college?” and honestly it doesn’t feel any different. I can still remember sitting in my advisor’s office my first year here at Eastern, my entire schedule for the next 3 years planned out right in front of me, trying to figure out how long it would take me to graduate.
“2016,” she said.
“2016? That’s forever from now,” I thought to myself.
I am sure I will have my moments where I will miss my undergrad days, but I am ready to move onto my next adventure. Here’s to new adventures.
