Today, I am sharing with you my top 5 favorite pieces of jewelry in my collection. I am hoping to make this “Top 5” a recurring topic here on my blog. I’ll still be doing my “Current Favorites,” of course, but I thought doing a “Top 5,” on a variety of different topics from my favorite pieces of jewelry to my favorite albums, would be fun.
Bad Bitch Necklace
This necklace is special to me because some of my favorite ladies in the world have the same matching necklace. I talked about them in my blog post “Okay, Ladies.” These necklaces were handmade by my brother’s partner, Veronica, who makes beautiful handmade jewelry. Follow her on Instagram to see more of her custom pieces.
Cosmic Balance Charm Bangle
I struggle when it comes to finding bracelets that can fit my wrists. So, I was thrilled when this charm bangle from Alex and Ani fit my wrist. This bracelet is gold, dainty, and can easily pair with any outfit. I love the meaning behind this bracelet, too. I think balance is such an important part of life and it’s something that I am still trying to figure out in my own life.
Mama Jo Bracelet
When I was younger, I would tell my mom that if I ever had children that I wanted them to call her Mama Jo. Shortly after her passing, I took a trip to Disneyland where I had this leather bracelet made with her nickname on it.
Best Bitches Bracelet
The word “bitch” stamped on a piece of jewelry is a recurring theme in my life. I bought these bracelets for me and my best friend as a Christmas present a few years ago.
Personalized Signature Ring
I wanted a way to remember my mom in the form of a ring. I stumbled upon the idea of having her signature embossed on a ring. I thought the signature from my birth certificate was perfect. It was, after all, the very first day we met.
