Everyone has their preferences when it comes to highlighters. Today I am sharing my top five favorite highlighters with you. I prefer something more subtle with the exception of my Desi x Katy Dose of Colors Highlighter in Mírame which is anything but subtle and I almost always go for the gold. Keep scrolling to see my top five favorite highlighters.

BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter in Opal

BECCA Cosmetics makes some of the best highlighters in my opinion and they carry a variety of shades that cater to a variety of different skin tones so chances are you’ll find something that suits you. Opal is my favorite shade from their range. If you’re ever wondering what highlight I’m wearing, it’s most likely Opal. I wear it every single day.

Laura Mercier Matte Radiance Baked Powder Compact in 01

This was my very first high-end highlighter that I ever purchased. I have mine in the shade 01 which is described as a golden nude. This is the perfect highlighter if, like me, you want something more subtle, but you still want that glow to your face.

Colourpop Super Shock Highlighter in Wisp

Colourpop Super Shock Highlighters are unique in that their texture is nothing like I have ever felt before. They are smooth, buttery, and melt right into the skin. I love wearing these during the warmer months when I don’t feel like wearing a lot of makeup. My favorite Colourpop shade is Wisp, but I also love Churro and Lunch Money.

Desi x Katy Dose of Colors Highlighter in Mírame

This highlighter is definitely the most dramatic of all the highlighters I own. It is stunning, to say the least. I love drenching myself in this highlighter during the summertime when I have more of a tan. This highlighter also looks absolutely incredible with a bright red lip.

Essence Pure Nude Highlighter

This highlighter is comparable to the Laura Mercier Matte Radiance Baked Powder Compact in terms of finish. It is a very subtle highlight but still leaves you with a beautiful glow. Sometimes I’ll use this highlighter to layer on top of another highlighter.
