Wow, so much has happened since my last monthly rewind back in April which you can read here. If you’re new to my blog this is where I recap my highlights of the month and share things like: what I wore, what I listened to, what I bought, what I ate, and so much more.
This month I got to experience A Taste of France courtesy of be.tech. The setting was beautiful and the food was exceptional. If you’d like to donate to be.tech high school’s lunch fund so that students can have nutritious and delicious brunch and lunch items you can donate by clicking here. I also got to take over the @stocktonca Instagram account for a weekend. It was my second time getting to do this and I had such a wonderful time doing it. I was able to capture some really beautiful moments and eat a lot of really delicious food that Stockton has to offer. This month I discovered my love for jeans which is evident if you’ve read my last two blog posts Fat Girls Shouldn’t Wear Crop Tops and Other Lies and Back to Basics. The biggest highlight of this month was definitely getting my first tattoo which you can read more about here. I couldn’t be happier with it. Every time I look at it, I smile. I am so in love with it.
What I Wore
It’s been in the 90s where I live here in California, but that hasn’t stopped me from pretendng like it’s fall. I’ve been wearing my Universal Thread Crista Studded Pointed Toe Heeled Mules nonstop since I picked them up at Target a few weekends ago. They are versatile, chic, and comfortable enough to wear for 8 hours or more. To go along with my mules I’ve been pairing them with a Rib Bodysuit from bohoo and my High Waist Mom Jeans from ASOS Curve with my Crepe Duster also from ASOS Curve layered on top. For accessories, I’ve been wearing the Rounded Hoop Earrings that I bought from Lane Bryant a few months ago and haven’t stopped wearing them since. Another item that I’ve also been wearing nonstop since I bought has been the Sephora Collection Cream Lip Stain Liquid Lipstick in #72 Alter-Ego.
What I Bought
I recently added some new items to my skincare and beauty regime. First up is the Full Collection Set from Fourth Ray Beauty. So far I’m really loving their BFD Cleansing Oil, AM to the PM Cleanser, and their The Lightweight Hydrator has been my go-to daytime moisturizer for days when I wear makeup. This month I’ve been trying out a new face mask from Origins and it’s their Clear Improvement Charcoal Honey Mask to Purify and Nourish. For makeup, I’ve been trying out a new foundation and concealer routine with the Nars Sheer Glow and the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer. I’ve also been trying out the Wet ‘N Wild Iconic Bronzer in Queen’s Land that came highly recommended by @sharmtoaster.
Who I Listened To
I have not stopped listening to Ariana Grande’s new album Sweetener. My favorite songs off the album are: R.E.M, sweetener, successful, no tears left to cry, borderline, better off, and get well soon. This month I also got into the Insecuritea: The Insecure Aftershow podcast. If you love the show Insecure then you will absolutely love this podcast.
