Processed with VSCO with a6 presetThis past weekend I spent the day in Santana Row with two of my favorite people, Ana and Daisy, in one of my favorite places. If you follow me on Instagram, then you’ll already know how sentimental Santana Row is for me. I had such a wonderful day eating, talking, laughing, taking photos, vlogging, shopping, and taking in the beautiful sight that is Santana Row. Ana and I could not stop talking about how amazing it would be to live in a place like this. Although, we both agreed that we could do without $2,000 rent that comes with living in such a place. We talked about future collaborations and tried to convince Daisy that she can be a blogger too. Ana and I also took Daisy to some of our favorite shops that she had never been to before. It is so easy to get caught up in life, that you can forget to just have fun. If you want to see what other shenanigans we got up to that day definitely check out Ana’s vlog and subscribe to her channel. Also, be sure to lookout for a mini haul video and a blog post on the outfit I wore. Coming soon.

At the end of July, we took a trip down south for a family reunion. Our first stop was Pismo State Beach. I’ll be the first to admit that I’m not a huge fan of the beach, however, I was so happy to be somewhere where it wasn’t 108° degrees. I’ve been to other beaches in California before, but Pismo is my favorite. And the dogs! There were so many beautiful dogs. The beach was clean. It wasn’t overly crowded. After a few hours on the beach, we made our way to one of the local restaurants for a seafood lunch. It was delicious. I had a cup of clam chowder, fried shrimp stuffed with crab, and fries. Just thinking about it is enough to make my mouth water. We stayed at the Chumash Casino Resort which is roughly an hour away from Pismo State Beach. Later that night we met up at a local Italian restaurant for the family reunion. It was a wonderful weekend getaway and I cannot wait to go back. Hopefully soon?

Photo Diary: Monterey

I was born and raised in California and yet I had only been to Monterey once and it was not an entirely pleasant experience. I got stuck in my seat belt, but that is another story for another time. A few weeks ago, I took a day trip to Monterey. I went to the beach, bought a pair of sandals, walked on the boardwalk, ate clam chowder out of a bread bowl, had one of the best piña coladas I have ever tasted, saw otters, and unfortunately came home with a terrible sunburn. Overall it was a great trip, except for the sunburn.
