Self-care is something that’s very personal. It’s also important and necessary. What better day to talk about self-care than on a holiday the celebrates love? So often we forget that self-love is important too and self-care plays such a pivotal role in loving oneself. Below I’ve listed 50 ways to practice self-care. However, I said before, self-care is very personal and unique to each individual. What works for me may not necessarily work for you and vise versa. What’s important is that you find time out of each day to take care of yourself.
It was not until recently that I began not only embracing the dark, thick, curly hair that I was born with, but appreciating it and loving it for what it is. But through all the straighteners, curling irons, blow drying, bleach, and hair dye, I had never fully committed to wearing my hair naturally until now. I am going three weeks strong right now.
